Uses Of Aluminium Foil Paper
An important function of aluminum foil is to make batteries. Surface tension is very important. At the boundary between liquid and gas, that is, at the interface between the liquid surface and two immiscible solutions, due to the attraction between molecules, a small amount of pull. The pulling force of this liquid is called surface tension.
Surface tension is a kind of intermolecular force, its magnitude depends on the difference between molecules, generally can be understood as the difference in the chemical composition of surface materials. The method of improving the dyne value is mainly considered from the aspect of changing the chemical composition of the surface material of the battery foil.
In the rolling process, it is inevitable that there will be rolling oil on the surface of the aluminum foil. The surface tension of the rolling oil should be less than the surface tension of solid aluminum. The surface tension of aluminum foil coated with rolling oil will be significantly reduced. Oil, from this point of view, the dyne value of the dark side of the battery foil will be relatively higher.
Temperature control, the effect of temperature on surface tension is mainly considered from two aspects, one is to change the surface structure of the liquid, and the other is to reduce the gas molecules adsorbed on the surface of the liquid. However, temperature will affect the surface tension of the battery foil and also the surface tension of the coating slurry. Therefore, comprehensive consideration should be given to selecting the appropriate coating temperature.
The coating process of lithium batteries requires the slurry to spread well on the surface of the aluminum foil. Influencing the wetting/spreading effect of the liquid on the solid surface, in addition to the surface tension of the solid and liquid itself, is also related to the morphology of the solid surface.
