Let’s talk about degreasing today. In the aluminum foil rolling process, as an important means of the rolling process, lubricating oil has important functions such as cooling the deformation zone, improving the lubrication of the deformation zone, reducing the load, and cleaning the surface of the aluminum foil.
 
But at the same time, many four-high rolling mills have oil on the aluminum foil surface in the exit area, which seriously affects the quality of finished annealing: either part of the coil is not exhausted, which affects the composite strength; or part of the coil is too exhausted, making the aluminum foil easy to oxidize and scrap .
 
The residual oil here specifically refers to the lubricating oil that is clearly visible to the naked eye on the surface of the aluminum foil due to oil dripping and slinging on the exit side of the rolling mill during the last rolling production of the aluminum foil rolling section. The oil on the surface of the aluminum foil further affects the quality of annealing and degreasing and the annealing time.
 
Due to the unpredictability of oil dripping and slinging on the exit side of the aluminum foil during the rolling process, the oil on the surface of the aluminum foil is irregular, and there is almost no way to distinguish them during the slitting process, and there is no way to add them from the annealing process. Discrimination.
 
This makes the quality of finish annealing degreasing become very unstable. In the same annealing furnace, some coils have reached A-level degreasing quality, while some coils may still be at degreasing B-level, and even the same coil has similar situations.
 
In order to ensure the degreasing and cleanliness of the whole furnace aluminum coil, the method of increasing the annealing temperature and extending the annealing time is generally adopted by the industry. However, there are many aluminum foil coils that are scrapped due to excessive annealing and compaction every year. Solving the problem of residual oil on the aluminum foil surface only from the annealing process is very risky and seriously affects the stability of product quality.
