Aluminum Foil Alloy 8011 Jumbo Rolls cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, but can be increased by cold deformation. The starting temperature of recrystallization is related to the content of impurities and the degree of deformation, generally around 200 °C. The σb of the annealed sheet is 80~100MPa, σ0.2=30~50MPa, ζ=35%~40%, HB=25~30. Increasing the iron and silicon impurity content can improve the degree of hardness, but reduce the plasticity, electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. The annealing softening properties and cold work hardening properties of 1200 (L5) industrial pure aluminum sheets are shown in the figure. It can be seen from the figure that the mechanical properties of different cold work hardening states can be obtained by adjusting the annealing temperature after cold deformation or by controlling the amount of cold deformation after annealing. In order to improve the formability, it is better to take the former method.

Industrial pure aluminum foil is generally defined as aluminum with a purity of 99.0% to 99.9%. In China, aluminum with a purity of 98.8% to 99.7% can be regarded as an aluminum-iron-silicon alloy with a very low silicon content. When Fe>Si, α(Fe2SiAl8) phase is formed; when Si>Fe, Form β (FeSiAl5) phase. Both phases are brittle compounds, the latter is more harmful to plasticity. When Fe>Si, it can also narrow the crystallization temperature range and reduce the tendency of casting cracks. When Fe/Si≥2~3, industrial pure aluminum sheets with fine grains and good stamping properties can be produced. It should be pointed out that iron and silicon mostly exist in the form of ternary compounds in industrial pure aluminum, and FeAl3 and free silicon have little chance of appearing.
