Because in summer, air conditioning is a household item that we cannot do without, and the most important thing that air conditioning can bring us is the operation of the air conditioning heat exchanger. The production of air-conditioning radiators is inseparable from aluminum foil.
 
Aluminum foil for air conditioners, also called hydrophilic aluminum foil, is mainly used to produce air conditioner radiators. What we mainly understand today is hydrophilic aluminum foil.
 
Ten years ago, the thickness of aluminum foil for household air conditioner heat exchange fins was about 0.15~0.2mm, and now it has grown to 0.103~0.15mm. Through the introduction of new technologies, the thickness of aluminum foil will be thinner, developing in the direction of 0.09 mm or even 0.08 mm.
 
The main performance index of hydrophilic aluminum foil is hydrophilicity, which is expressed by the size of the contact angle of water droplets on the surface of the aluminum foil. Hydrophilicity is divided into initial hydrophilicity and continuous hydrophilicity. In the past few years, domestic air-conditioning manufacturers' requirements for hydrophilic aluminum foil were limited to the initial hydrophilicity, but now, the initial hydrophilicity requirements have been weakened, and higher and higher requirements for continuous hydrophilicity have been put forward.
 
At present, there are many manufacturers of
hydrophilic aluminum foil in China. The main methods are single-coating and single-bake method and double-coating and double-bake method. The single-coating and single-bake method is to degrease the aluminum foil, then chemically oxidize it to form a chemical conversion film on the surface of the aluminum foil, and finally apply a hydrophilic coating.
