Aluminium Foil Coil For House Use
Before understanding aluminum foil, I think the first thing we learned is tin foil. When aluminum foil was not known in our country, tin foil was the mainstream domestic product at that time. Tin foil is mainly used in the production of light industry, art supplies and handicrafts. There is still a big difference between aluminum foil and tin foil.
For example, it is used in high-end dry capacitors, decorations, decorative materials, microwave insulation, food and wine packaging, religion, ancestor worship, and the use of tin's flexibility, anti-extrusion, anti-corrosion and waterproof properties to block. It is used for packaging barrels lined with organic chemical raw materials such as flame retardant, floor glue, synthetic paint and so on.
In addition, it is also used as a preform in a special welding process. Tin foil refers to the application of a thin layer of tin on paper, which is stacked or pasted into ingots. Used by priests, ancestors or superstitious people to incinerate ghosts and gods.
Tin is the fourth most precious metal after platinum, gold and silver. Pure tin is shiny, non-toxic, not easy to oxidize and discolor, and has good sterilization, purification and freshness preservation effects. Tin has very stable chemical properties and is not easily oxidized by oxygen at room temperature, so it often maintains a shiny silver luster.
But tin foil is softer than aluminum foil, and the wrapped food will have a faint taste. At the same time, tin foil cannot be heated due to its low melting point, or the heating temperature is high—it becomes brittle if it exceeds 160°C—limiting its application in food packaging. In terms of use, if you need to grill food, you can't use tin foil when baking food.
However, due to the high melting point of aluminum foil, it starts to melt when heated to above 660°C. It is suitable for ordinary grilled foods, baked goods, and even traditional chicken breasts are wrapped in aluminum foil for baking. So aluminum foil is the most common auxiliary tool in our house.
