Battery aluminum foil is used as a current collector for lithium-ion batteries. Under normal circumstances, the lithium-ion battery industry uses rolled aluminum foil as the positive electrode current collector.
The thickness of the rolled foil varies from 10 to 50 microns. Commonly used pure aluminum foils for lithium batteries have various alloy grades such as 1070, 1060, 1050, 1145, 1235, 1100, etc., and have states such as -O, H14, -H24, -H22, and -H18.
Quality requirements
First, the surface of the aluminum foil is uniform in color, clean, and flat, without obvious roll marks, pitting, pinholes, and corrosion marks;
The second aluminum foil surface has no rolling defects such as creases, mottling, bright lines, etc.;
Third, there is no color difference on the surface of the aluminum foil;
Fourth, there is no oil on the surface, no serious oil odor, and no visible oil spots;
The fifth surface tension, the dyne pen test is not less than 32 dyne;
Appearance requirements
First, the aluminum foil coil is wound with moderate tightness, the end surface is flat and clean, and the edge is smooth;
Second, the staggered layer of aluminum foil should not exceed ±1.0mm;
Third, the width of the aluminum foil coil tube core is greater than or equal to the foil width, and generally the length of the two ends of the tube core does not exceed the foil width 5mm;
Fourth, the aluminum foil should be wrapped around the center of the die;
Fifth, the joint part has clear joint marks on the two ends of the aluminum coil.
