10 Micron Aluminum Foil 8011 Soft Temper
10 Micron Aluminum Foil 8011 Soft Temper Heating temperature and holding time are the main process parameters that affect the annealing quality. Reasonable selection of heating temperature and holding time can achieve good product quality, high production efficiency and less energy consumption.
10 Micron Aluminum Foil 8011 Soft Temper Under certain conditions, the effect of increasing the heating temperature and prolonging the holding time on the annealing quality is equivalent. When the heating temperature is high, the holding time can be shortened accordingly. When the heating temperature is low, the heating time can be extended accordingly.
(1) Requirements for product quality
The main factors to measure the quality of aluminum foil are: geometric size, surface quality, mechanical properties and internal structure, etc. Among them, surface quality, mechanical properties and internal structure have a great relationship with the heating temperature and holding time of finished annealing.
One of the most critical factors to measure the surface quality of aluminum foil is whether its surface is bright and whether there are oil spots and oil marks. From the perspective of removing residual rolling oil on the surface of aluminum foil, the higher the heating temperature and the longer the holding time, the better the oil removal performance. If the annealing temperature is too low and the holding time is too short, the surface of the aluminum foil will leave oil spots and oil marks of varying severity left by the volatilization and combustion of the rolling lubricating oil. However, from the perspective of internal structure and mechanical properties, if the temperature is too high and the time is too long, it may cause the internal grains to be too large and the mechanical properties to decline, thus failing to meet the requirements of the internal structure and mechanical properties.
Of course, for the aluminum foil that is required to be supplied in a hard state, the finished product annealing treatment is not required. For the products that are required to be supplied in a soft state, complete recrystallization annealing is required. For other products in different intermediate states, different heating temperature and holding time should be selected according to different requirements.
The heating temperature and the holding time can be adjusted within a certain range according to needs. For the same alloy, the higher the heating temperature, the shorter the holding time, otherwise (for recrystallization annealing), it will enter the stage of aggregation and recrystallization, so that the grains grow up. The lower the heating temperature, the longer the holding time. Otherwise, the recrystallization process is insufficient, and the purpose of annealing cannot be achieved. Heat preservation at high temperature and short time has an extremely good effect on refining metal grains and obtaining a uniform structure. Such annealing may make the metal obtain higher plasticity. However, this process is not suitable for aluminum foil, because the holding time should be extended to at least 10 hours to remove the residues of rolling lubricants from coils with a tightness of about 2.35g/cm.
In addition, the lowest possible annealing temperature and long heat treatment time are beneficial to prevent the aluminum foil from sticking after annealing.
10 Micron Aluminum Foil Soft Temper The heating rate may seem like an insignificant parameter, but it is not well chosen for different conditions. rate and production cycle may be adversely affected
